Building on its expertise and success in the area of gastrointestinal product innovation, Zassi has jointly co-founded Leto Medical, LLC to pursue the continued development of a novel electrical stimulation technology for the gastrointestinal continence control market. This new company, Leto Medical, LLC, will develop this innovative electrical stimulation technology and a mating family of proprietary, single use disposables that together will restore continence control to individuals with colostomies for 8 to 12 hours per day. During these 8 to 12 hours, these individuals will be freed from the burden of having to wear an ostomy pouch.
e-Zassi.com, which is the medical device industry's first subscription-based integrated online business network, decision support software and technology marketplace. Delivered as a SaaS product, the platform utilizes Web 2.0 to enhance the development, commercialization and communication of medical device oriented individuals and institutions. The e-Zassi.com software platform has been designed to address the specific networking and decision support needs of the medical device market.
